Desktop icon not working

Hello guys
Not a major issue but would be nice if i could sort it. I get no response whenever i click the 'show desktop' icon on the taskbar. As i said before it's nothing major but helps when i have a number of windows open and i need to access the desktop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try this solution:

To use a VBS File: Download .vbs file and save it to your hard drive. Double
click the vbs file. You will be prompted when the script is done.
Now try the Desktop Icon.
