Problem with Background Task Server, must close! Grrrrr!!!!!!!!

At start up, most of the time but not all strangely enough I get the error message...
Background Task Server has encountered a problem must close in the usual report dialogue box
Has anybody else encountered this problem, and if so what did they do to remedy it?

Any more info on the exact message or is that the only text? Any recent installations made on your PC?
