trouble with copying a DVD

I have a cousin who traveled back to my home country and recorded on a camcorder cd my family and his family but he wants the cd back.Is there a way for me to copy the cd on my computer and then burn it to a normal DVD cd?

its a camcorder DVD-R VIDEO

Have you tried copying it with NERO .I think that should do the job for you.
