Where can i get a free DVD Player for my xp PC
|

Hello can anyone tell me where you can download a free DVD player for playing DVD moves on my PC with XP. I did have Power DVD it came with my pc as a cd desk but had to reformat my PC and cannot find the cd to reinstall it so can anyone please tell me i can get a free player or cheap ons thanks corsur.

Hi and thanks tried it and it does the job of playing my DVD well. However hope you can help, what i don't like is it has made its self the default player for everything. I only want it to play the odd DVD not take over my default Windows media player 11 and put its icon on all my WMV files, I have tried to look for option's in it to stop this but cannot find any can you help thanks corsur.

Try resetting WMP. Open WMP and click on tools then options. Click on the "file types" tab and tick the appropriate boxes > apply > OK/
