img files - how do i view it without burning it

I have an img file with is a movie, do i need to burn it or can i do something so i can just watch it from the pc? I did try using magiciso to burn it but when it completed it had nothing on the dvd i dont know why.
So what is the easiest way to view.

download and install ExtractNow (freeware/spayware free)
Open Windows Explorer, find your img file
Right click and click Extract
