www.fallingrain.com/world/ is a gazetteer of just about every town on the Planet
And, links through to Google Maps To view(and Google links for the same place
) Has its own maps but they are crude! Has Map References of the Place plus elevation above sea level(Being an American site)Also population estimates.Has some other features such as bearing to Airports(I suspect this is an Aid to Pilots has references to Airports and Airfields if you dig deeper) and Local way points in Nautical miles <<<NOTE!!! But is invaluable as a reference, if you disregard things like this Glaring Error in the UK Section ALL The Towns come Under ABERDEEN CITY!!
And ,everywhere is classed as a "City"

Interesting! Shows my home town, or rather City, 352 miles further South than it actually is.

My town centre is about is 2 miles to the south west in a farmers field
apart from these errors(on their "Mapping" the accuracy is good
