Ad-Aware Update.

Hi All,
I am having trouble updating Ad - Aware for some reason ??
I am getting an error message saying " Error retrieving update " after 5%.
I am using Ad - Aware SE Personal Build 1 06r 1.
any help greatfully received

There are no more automatic updates for Ad-Aware SE you will have to update to Ad-Aware 2007 although you can do a manual update from here by using the link in the top right hand corner. Can't say how long these will be available for as Ad-Aware is now BETA testing the 2008 version.

Close Ad-Aware.
Download the latest definition file in a ZIP file from Lavasoft's website.
Save it to a temporary location of your choice ie. Desktop.
When complete, unzip the contents of the file, either with your favorite ZIP utility or through in-built support of Windows to the installation directory of Ad-Aware which is usually C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE\
Open Ad-Aware and you can confirm the update on the main status screen.
