As the Sticky at he head of this part of the forum states;
"... Other forum users are encouraged to offer feedback to these sites..."
By posting it you've invited comment - praise or criticism (hopefully constructive).

Yes I will give you some feedback and yes, it will be a crticism. I'm using Firefox and your site is loading in a new tab. So far it has been three and half minutes loading and it still isn't done. I have a note at the bottom 'Waiting for itde.vccs.edu' and a sign in the middle that says 'Information is being retrieved, this may take a few minutes'. I still have no idea what I'm waiting to see. I have a 3mb cable connection so it ain't my end.
Six minutes now and I've given up waiting. What exactly would have seen if I'd waited long enough?

You would have seen what the title states, in one page. Some people are able to load this quite quickly but others are slow and some cant load at all. I'll keep on it, there must be some way around it, it loads information from different sources.

It took around 10 minutes on my 4meg connection. Improve this speed thing or your site will not work, it is too unfriendly to users

Hi Duncan. For me, your site loaded in seconds. I have done a quick browse and anything I clicked on came up in seconds. During the day, I have endevoured to send you an email via your link (outlook express) and mine, yahoo, each time it failed to leave, let alone get bounced back. Hopefully I will be able to contact you via PM on this site as I think I may have usefull info.

Any useful info would be better posted here (the purpose of the forum) then others may benefit from your advice.

Following the input on Web User message board and the comment which followed, I thought I'd have a look for myself. I did random clicks and there was a response with no delays, so I'm not sure what the chap was referring to when he said he waited for something. I know you make reference to spelling, but for me, spelling, grammar, punctuation and correct word usage is quite important. In fact if the site had been” proof-read” prior to launch, it could have been tidied up a bit. I suppose that's because for nine years, I was in a voluntary capacity editor of a national/international magazine. Anyway, without being condescending/patronising to a 17 yr old, I think your site is good, encouraging for the future, and providing you are prepared to accept that English spoken and written as it should be, could lead to something big later in life. You may wish to bin my contribution on the other hand you may wish to respond, if so, I await your reply with interest.

The reason I said it was a long wait was for the feeds for TV now and next, while your site loaded quickly it was the feeds for the TV from other sources which took a while.

Hi. I've just looked at your CV section and noted the following errors:- 1st line =2 2nd " =3 3rd " = 3 4th " = none 5th " = 1
I honestly believe that whatever the content, however it is designed, however quickly it loads, if one is presented with poorly written sections, it COULD deter a return visit.
I know in this age of quick responses we all make mistakes. I accept in this age of texting spelling tends to be phonetic. However I maintain that just a bit of tidying up would make all the difference. Hopefully you won't be offended by my comments I would simply like to see you present your website more appealing to those of us who like to see and read english as it should be.

I agree with your comments about spelling and grammar but I would recommend that you make sure your own posts don't contain similar errors.

You need a full stop after comments, appealing should be appealingly and english should be English - not that I'm checking up on you or anything.

Hello, i am "BK2", and i have signed up again to Webuser Forums because i am having trouble getting to my account. Perhaps it's my poor education, or perhaps it's because i am too "youthful", but i sincerely apologise for the poorly written English on my website. I have therefore requested "Kingfisher" to write my "How it works" web page (HERE) in a language that he finds is appropriate, subsequently i would like everybody to check that page and pick out any mistakes he has made. Come on "Kingfisher", don't let me down
PS i fink ur gr8

Firstly, Im not going to give you my life story, I just want you to know 3 things about me. Firstly, my names Duncan Maile (So you know who to thank for this website), secondly, im 17 (i probably wont update this after by birthday) and thirdly, and most importantly, IM LAZY. You can ask anybody i know and they will tell you that i am the laziest person they have ever met, not something for a CV. Anyway the aim of this site is for lazy people, and if you like the idea or visit often, well done your lazy aswell. I made this website in code, hence the rubbish look, but it is fast loading...

Duncan, I am no means perfect myself and I have no doubt that somewhere within “my” version, is a double negative or whatever that someone will spot and politely draw my attention to.

To confirm Andrews theory. I am only kingisher and no-one else. I may not visit that site again. The reason being it seems to be aiming at young folk who write in text. So I wonder why the site was brought to the attention of a site where for the most part, the members write in english.

Oh my gawd!. Out of courtesy I entered a post on the imup2date board, explaining that given a request was made on THIS site for comment, which I did, and it was received well I think, I visited daily and observed that other users enjoyed the priveledge of writing their comments/contributions in text and that in "my" opinion, the site may well be aimed at the young. I felt that after such an amount of time and effort had been given to provide the site, it would only attract young people. I added that I might pop back to see how the site developed.
Oh my gawd, I've been banned.
