Microsoft Word Question

I use 'Microsoft Works Word Processor' for my essay writing. Can anyone please tell me if there is an eaiser way of knowing how many words I have typed than physically counting them one by one.

Thanks

Re: Microsoft Word Question

To count the number of words in an open Works document, make sure that no text or objects are highlighted and click on the Tools menu then choose Word Count.

A more advanced feature is also available in Microsoft Word with the ability to have the 'counter' on the Toolbar.
