Call of Duty 4 - PC Requirements

Hi, i have a AMD Athlon 2000+ and was wondering will it run Call of Duty 4? I've checked the min spec and its says Athlon 2800+, but been reading some reviews and from my understanding the Athlon 2000+ and the Athlon 2800+ arent that different when it comes to 3d gaming... i think!?
Any advice would be great (sorry if this is in the wrong section).

Select the game from the list. Click and then install the application - safe so no worries.
Sometimes you might get a fail - I've got a dodgy DVD drive and it often says a fail on that only, but all the other stuff is AOK.
