help appreciated. i have a netgear super adsl wireless router dg834gt upon which i have successfully configured to work with my acer travelmate 2303wlmi laptop wirelessly. i tried to connect it via ethernet cable, disabling wireless, it shows that i have a working internet connection but refuses to open any web page i try to open. i opened the netgear settings (192.168.x.y) and everything is as it should be. the modem on the laptop is broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller any ideas would be welcome.
