Problems connecting a Wii to a wireless network
|
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to connect my Wii to my tiscali wireless (siemens gigaset router) and when I try I get error code 51330; online help isn't helping and I'm not exactly a networking genius!

Scouting around various forums online there seem to be a few potential fixes for this. Try:
Changing the router's channel to 11 (if that doesn't work, try 1)
Make sure the router is set to 802.11g or 802.11b/g - try different settings
Rebooting your router after setting it up on the Wii

One point I fell over on when I setup my Wii (the same for the nintendo DS as well) was if you are using wep that you had to use the actaul hex code as opposed to the passphrase, not sure if this is the same for you??
