Error Disabling Connection

Hi, first time post here.
I have recently got Sky Broadband but already have problems. When I try to repair and disable my connections i'm getting the message:
Error Disabling Connection
This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug and play or it may have been initated by another or the system account.
Basically, help!

Why do you need to disable it?
If you're having problems, disabling it won't help.
