Nintendo Wii, Wireless network???!!!
Hello , Can anyone help with this problem? I have recently purchased a Nintendo Wii and am unable to benefit from its wireless capabilities as I do not (yet) have wireless in my house. My PC is wired into a cable modem (Virgin Media), is it possible to keep my PC hard wired and then introduce a wireless router for the Wii? or does the PC have to be made wireless too (I've been told that download speeds are slower through a wireless network) I have a medium to good knowledge of PC's but am a complete novice when it comes to wireless stuff!!! Thanks for any help

Yes it is. You need something like one of these. You connect the Virgin Media modem to the router via an ethernet cable and in turn connect your PC to the router, again using an ethernet cable. You can then set up your Wii to connect to the router via wireless.

When you've decided which router to get, have a look round the net for better prices than the site I linked to. Also remember that routers that conform to the Wireless-N standard will give you a stronger signal and be more reliable.
