IE7 POSTCODE Location reverts back to LONDON

I have a simple but very annoying problem. I'm running IE7 vers 7.0.5730.11.
My home page is BBC.CO.UK and this shows the weather and local news based on my postcode. I put my postcode in and it updates my location. Unfortunately this changes back to LONDON everytime I reboot my computer. This did not happen with IE6 and I've changed cookie settings, disabled virus scans and spyware scans but I still cannot get it to retain MY postcode between reboots. Any ideas please?

Could be an ActiveX control setting that is preventing this? Suggest putting the site address in the "Trusted Sites" list on the Security tab in IE (click the "Green tick" Icon to open the list) I've done this with several websites that I visit often. These are unaffected by any changes on the security settings

It's the bbc.Co.uk/ cookie that's the problem. If at any stage the cookie is deleted , the next time you open your browser you'll have re-enter the postcode .

Do you manually delete your temp files etc before shutting down your pc. ?
