Constantly loading browser pages

This is a problem only with IE7 - I unistalled it and tried IE6 -no problems.

PROBLEM: I keep getting unwanted web pages pop up - you know the thing for virus checkers, dating services, cellphone tunes etc. then suddenly IE7 will start oppening blank pages and I cant stop them.

I've scanned with Mcafee, I've cleaned out everything I can think of cookies, temp files etc but I can't find the source - it is most noticeable when I am in Microsoft sites (goes wild!) - OS is XP home 2P - I an intermmediate user - can anyone goive me a few pointer what I should be looking for and where?

Thanks

Re: Constantly loading browser pages

Download Deckard's System Scanner from Here or Here (DSS) to your Desktop.
Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.

1. Close all applications and windows.
2. Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
3. When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt <-this one will be minimized
4. Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply to this topic.
