picasa2..how to edit all the picts in a folder ?

hi all..

i have used picasa a couple of times, its brilliant and it allows all the images in a folder to be ammended but i dont know how ? i managed to import all the picts from a folder, then at the top u see all the picts and 1 by 1 u can modify/ammend the picts...but how to and where to save the modified picts ? that confuses me...just now i managed to modify 35 picts but lost all the changes...

pls advice

Picasa will only save changes to a picture if you tell it so. Whilst you are playing with a picture in Picasa it will remember the changes you made and store a backup of the original before you made the changes. However if you then go back into Explorer to look at your pictures you won't see any of the changes you have made. In Picasa you have to specifically save your changes and then Picasa will over write the original image but create a new folder called 'Originals' which will contain your original photos.
