Re: Markup Tags

[url ]www.webuser.co.uk[/url ] but without the space between the l and the bracket will give you http://www.webuser.co.uk, or [url =www.webuser.co.uk]webuser[/url ], likewise without the space between l and the =/bracket, will give you webuser. You can insert any text, such as 'click here', where I have typed webuser. Hope this helps, try it out, if you put a tick in the box 'I want to preview my post' you can preview your post to check if your link works. Good luck

Re: Markup Tags

Using the image tag ([image]http://www.webuser.co.uk/images/logo.gif[/image]) you can show a screen grab, though the file must be hosted elsewhere online, and be narrower than 600 pixels.

Any images wider than 600 pixels should either be reduced before posting, or linked-to via the URL tag ([url=http://www.webuser.co.uk/images/logo.gif]Click to view[/url]).

The only way to get it to appear on this forum is to get it hosted; try Walagata, amongst others, or your own space (most ISP's provide some).

And, if HTML wasn't disabled, you'd still need to host your image online for it to show!

Re: Markup Tags

I found out recently that stuff can be resized on Walagata, so if you use them for image hosting, that's a useful feature.
