Not to worry, the Moderators will move it over to the right section for you

Urban_Nin9a, there is an explanation under each subject heading to guide you to which is the best category to post any queries. If you were referring to your PDF query, then I have moved it to Readers Recommend: Software. (You can also click on the link "This post has been moved" to take you it's new "home".) Please also read this as a further guide.
Bedstor, your comment "Not to worry, the Moderators will move it over to the right section for you" gives the impression that threads can be posted anywhere and the Mods have nothing else better to do than to move them.

You need to hang fire with that for now as the help you are getting in the hijack forum may point to the reason/s for this problem. Starting a new thread and possibly making changes as a result will undo all the good work you receive from the hijack experts.

HT I never said Leave it here and of course the moderator will judge if it is in the right place or not?
Perhaps Admin could consider introducing an "Open (Technical query)section" for the undecided posters to avoid getting mixed up with the other postings? at least in there they will be dealt with better?

Following up on my post above ...There are people(Newbies to computing) who visit this forum who have no idea what many of the subjects that we are discussing or B) First time visitors? Putting something like this in place simplifies things for everybody

I'm sorry but 'the Moderators will move it over to the right section for you' is tantamount to saying 'post it where ever, it doesn't matter'. Frankly I would have expected more consideration from a long time contributor such as yourself.
Secondly, there is a 'catch-all(ish)' area in All other topics, if need be. However, as has been said all the various boards have a brief description of their purpose and coverage - is it too much to ask that people actually read them?
And, again to be frank (and not wishing to dis anyone or be condescending to n00bs or otherwise), if you can't fathom out where best to post a query (within reason) it may be a long haul understanding responses, particularly where complex problems are concerned.
Bottom line; folk need to help others to help them, and it starts by taking time to post in the right place. Yes, the mods will move a subject to a more appropriate board, but only if it's seen in the first instance, and this forum isn't fully moderated in that respect.
Incidentally Urban_Nin9a, as FifeFlyer rightly advises, I'd hold out until you're all done with the HJT help before seeking help on another issue.
