issue 174 most wanted products Asus Mini Notebook

On page 50 of issue 174 there is an article about the Asus mini notebook.
The link you provided is for the RM website, which provides services for people enrolled or employed in the education sector.
Up to now this has been the only source to purchase this particular item.

I think what your writers have picked up on is the recent reports that ASUS themselves are now about to release an updated version for general sale on 12th November, rebranded as the 'Eee PC' which includes various improved specs & the ability to run Windows XP, which the 'Education' version never offered. Available through their own website & through high street retailers including eBuyer.com, Dabs.com, Micro Anvika, PC World, Toys ‘r’ Us, Bennett’s Retail, Expansys and a number of independent retailers: Platinum Solutions, Clove Technology and Samuel King among them.

Therefore I feel a more suitable link for this news item would be
Asus Laptops

Just thought id bring it up as I've been following this item for some time.

Thanks for pointing that out. I believe parents can buy the RM machines for children who are in the education system, as well as the teaching professionals you mention, but the link you've provided is very useful for eveyone else.
