Emailing the proof to honour the best in Webuser!
|
|
Guys & Gals,
I have been reading Webuser now for just about a year now (seriously think I should get a subscription!) but have never tried out the ".... THIS" section until now (issue 172) where I have found myself addicted to "Touch the Bubbles" (sad but completely true!). Just how do you email proof of your high score? Not that I have beaten Webusers score but i'm sure with a little more practice!!
I really should be getting on with the decorating!

Glad you're enjoying the game - we're easily addicted to such games too. There's a certain person in the office who has played Mr Men Pinball - which we featured in Issue 171 - about 768 times.
If you manage to beat our score 147, just email the proof (a screengrab will do) to robert_irvine@ipcmedia.com. Don't forget to check out other online games from the Beat Web User archive.

To make your life a little easier, download Gadwin Screen Print and use that to copy and paste your winning score. Once you've installed it you just press your PrtScr key and draw a box round the bit of the screen you want to save. Give it a file name and send it off with your email.

Easier still if you have a browser with screen capture included as standard.

You just had to throw down the challenge, didn't you. You knew full well I would come back with a Firefox extension that would do the same job.

Would I do that ? Mind you, extension as being not part of the whole, not fitted as standard, extra to, add on etc. etc. etc. Uninstall one by one when browser crashes, safe mode, new profile etc. etc. etc. May as well stick with PrintScreen/Paint !
