Email getting error message for attachements

My Email is timing out when sending some attachements, I am specifiucally trying to send a Zipped Jpeg of 67KB but get the following error code Ox800CCC67.
NTL have told me there is no problem with the mail servers even though this error states a loss of the connection with the server.
I am able to send smaller attachements. 43KB being the biggest to date.
