Norton Anti Virus 2002

Hiya everyone,
Please can someone advise me. My Norton Anti Virus 2002 has stopped showing the scanning tray when receiving or sending out emails. I've checked the options and they are all ticked and the setting that says for email "display tray icon" and "display progress indicator when sending email" is all ticked. I've rebooted my computer and still it won't display.
I've never had this problem before, and all I've done different tonight is sign up to migrate to a different ISP broadband. Now surely that wouldn't cause it.

Hiya there.
No, I haven't moved to AOL. I know that Norton doesn't support AOL.
I'm currently with Freeserve/wannado but have just signed up to migrate to Plusnet.
I tried reinstalling Norton today but it's still not showing the incoming and outgoing displays of Norton scanning.
