Outlook Express Messages

Every so often my outlook express comes up with a message about saving space space and compressing them. Where do they go and is it possible to retrieve them?

They haven't gone anywhere if all you've done is agree to have them compressed. They are still in their original folders. If, on the other hand, you've also agreed to have them deleted then you've lost them all.
