Office 2007 outlook contacts query...

Have been using MS office 2007 at home for a while with no problems, recently upgraded at work and have small issue.
In "contacts" when i input a phone number in a persons records and click anywhere else it tries to dial, cancelling the dialing action does not sem to work.
Is there a setting somewhere to correct this??
Any info greatly appreciated as i can't save anyone sphone number.....

I too am having this problem -- any change to a phone number in my Outlook 2007 Contacts launches the automatic dialer, which I cannot cancel.
I am wondering if this has something to do with a recent and painful import of data from my Palm (which my Blackberry is refusing to read from Outlook).
