Email sending delay

Hi
I use Outlook Express 6 & my browser is the latest Firefox.
When i open Outlook Express & create a new mail & send, there is a considerable delay, maybe 20-30 seconds before it sends!
As Firefox hasn't the option to create a mail like Internet Explorer via the 'envelope' icon, to send a mail, i have to right click on a a webpage then 'send link' & delete the link & write the mail. I then get the oblong 'mail sending' box & it takes even longer to send, sometimes 30-40 secs. Each time the 2 tv's in taskbar aren't illuminated until the mail sends.
Occasionally if i want to send a link or something pasted into a mail, it starts sending & i get an box open below the mail saying an error occured OXC500 & then random numbers!
Any help appreciated
Gaz

Re: Email sending delay

You do have the option to either read or write a new email with various Add-Ons in Firefox.
I personally us . . . . >> Get Mail << . . . .

Try downloading and use as per the second FAQ, then see if composing an email then sending is any quicker.
