Outlook Express

When I connect to Outlook Express,it shows that I am receiving mail, then a window appears stating that POP 3 server has not responded in 60 seconds, then an error message.
All suggestions gratefully accepted.

Re: Outlook Express

Sounds like you've got a very large email stuck on the ISP's server which it can't download. Who is your ISP?

Re: Outlook Express

hi ive had this problen a couple of times i noticed if i do a full reboot it sometimes helps failing that if you open outlook express click tools>accounts>mail>properties>servers......then it says password re-enter your password & account name .......apply>ok>close........... close outlook experss then reopen should work

Re: Outlook Express

Hi greysts, I logged into ntl(virgin media) and found three e-mails, deleted all and it seems to have done the trick. Many thanks, and kind regards, ntshe.
