receiving email from myself!

Lat night I received an email through my hotmail account from myself which obviously i didn't send...I didn't open it, but it just looked like spam...Is it likely to just be spam or have i been hacked and should i be worried?? I have changed my password, and was wondering whether to delete my account and get a new one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's spam. It's relatively easy for spammers to make an email look as if it's been sent from your own computer.

I thought it would be that, I just got a bit freaked though when I seen it was supposedly sent from my address.
