talktalk/AOL/Tesco
|
|
Talktalk uses AOL IE, but I notice that when using my Email it is done through Tesco and states- {Powered by talktalk. Microsoft IE provided by Tesco internet access]. Is this right?

First of all TalkTalk (The Carphone Warehouse) actually own AOL. Internet Explorer is owned by Microsoft and TalkTalk simply re badge it. There are tools available to take the TalkTalk label off and use a clean version of IE. Secondly, at some time in the past you must have had Tesco as your email provider. Tesco did the same and rebadged OE. Again there are tools available to clean up the header so it doesn't show ".... provided by Tesco".

Glad you are here greysts, I did not know about Talk/AOL, with regard to Tesco I have never been with them - but I did attempt to use them for a short time prior to my transfer to talktalk, so it must be that. I would rather my E was under the same provider so I will have to find out how to go about correcting this prob. Cauldbum.

greysts, as you said and all changed. Appeared to have slight Email problem after but it was down to talktalk producing new Email- which is a lot better. All ok now. Thanks cauldbum.
