I've had my current email address for about 10 years and I'm receiving many, many spam emails per day. I have various spam filters but that doesn't prevent / stop the email arriving. They go into my "Junk email" box but some non-Spam ones do too, so I need to check my Spam box often (daily?). I've decided to change to a new email address and I already have two, one "gmail" and one "hotmail". These addresses are not yet known to my contacts and I'd like to have any tips and recommendations from forum members as to how I should proceed from now, eg it seems obvious that I should inform trusted contacts individually. Are there any other tips that forum users could give me? Many thanks in advance for any hep. |

It's easy to email them separately if you don't have too many contacts but most people will have hundreds of contacts, won't they? Why not clean up your address book and then send a 'group' email informing people of the change. |
