Hi, I've had the same problem since the sky / google changeover: before it was fine. I can receive OK using Outlook 2003, but cannot send. I've made all the POP / SMTP changes recommended by sky and spent over an hour on the phone to the sky help desk on several sessions: they don't seem to even want to recognise the problem. Did you find an answer or does anyone know how to fix this....? |

Hi Bob, I have tried to get Sky to help with this but they are not interested. They basically tell me that I will have to go onto Sky e-mail to receive!! As yet, have not resolved. Tia |

My thanks to skampydog. The site was extremely useful - how come the Sky help line don't read it? Whether by design or accident I fixed my problem (after weeks of trying) by downloading microsoft service pack 3 for Office 2003. All now works fine, but nowhere have I read this is a requirement nor has it ever been mentioned by Sky. I guess my problem was slightly different to Tiatadi's in that I already had a sky email address. Thanks again to both. Bob. |
