Microsoft Office Student & Teacher Edition 2003

I've just bought this edition and loaded onto my computer but cannot send and receive e-mails. Can anyone give me any pointers please?

Presumably you are trying to use Outlook as part of Office rather than Outlook Express? If so, have you set up your Email Account properly. If you open Outlook and go to Help, search for setting up Email Accounts and follow instructions.
If you have set up your Email Account did you get to "Sending a Test Email"? If so what happened?

if your with gmail change outgoing ssl port to 587, its not what the website says but it works.
also it requires outgoing validation same as incoming.
