Outlook/AOL "message could not be uploaded"
|
|
Received the following message after trying to send some mail:
"Some of the messages in your Outbox Folder could not be copied to your Sent Items Folder. Your message could not be uploaded to the IMAP server. The server refused to accept it. Subject 'whoopee', Account: 'chair massage co', Server: 'imap.uk.aol.com', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: 'Mailbox Sent Items cannot be appended to', Port: 143, Secure (SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCCD2"
Any ideas welcome!!

Under Tools/Accounts higlight your AOL mail account and click "Properties". Click on the IMAP tab and make sure the "Store special folders on IMAP server" box is not ticked.

Have AOL got some sort of 'offensive words' filter? I wonder if it got all upset about the word 'massage'?
