EMAIL ADDRESS & PASSWORD BOX NOT ACCEPTING CURSOR

EMAIL ADDRESS & PASSWORD BOX NOT ACCEPTING CURSOR
Despite reinstalling Win 98 SE, checking for viruses witn Norton and spies (with spyware) I am unable to open my Hotmail and Lycos mail boxes. When I try to click in the boxes with the mouse (no response/cursor) and try to put my name and password in the boxes the boxes remain blank.
On another computer all is OK
Can anyone help me please?
