If anyone is familiar with the workings of Norton Anti-Spam perhaps they may be able to help with this problem.... It is possible (was!) to identify an e-mail as spam and also to remove the spam tag from mail incorrectly identified. This effectively 'trains' the engine in the correct recognition of mail. Unfortunately I can no longer do this. If I wish to tag an e-mail as spam from the drop-down box, the page just freezes with the timer icon staring at me. All that can then be done is to close Outlook Express and then re-open in order to continue working. Every other part of OE and Norton is fine. Any ideas folks? Cheers, Bob. Guinness...because not everything in life is black and white. |
