dedicated server.. who to go with?

Hi all, after being on donhost for several years on their reseller, requirement of features like htaccess causes me to move on. I dont want on of their dedicateds so i'm looking elsewhere.
Looked so far at 123reg (£40 month) UK2 (£60 month) and fasthosts (£50 month) varying set up fees with all.
Has anyone got any opinions on these? any alternatives i should be looking at? i need to host about 20 sites on it and hopefully dont want to go over £50 month.

I have some domain names with 123 reg and can say that their support is down right awful. 1and1 should also be avoided.
