Adding programs to website

Hi, I new to all this website creating stuff and am currently trying to create my own website using ftp.
Now i have a program on my PC which i would like to put on my website, so is there any way i can convert the program to a format so that i can use it on my website, can anyone please help

is this a program you wrote yourself ? If not then you dont own the copyright so should not upload it to a website or you might find yourself in legal difficulties.
