Playing MP3s on Frontpage website

Hi there, I'm a bit stuck with playing MP3 links on my website and wonder if someone can point me in the right direction. I've saved the MP3s in my Frontpage webs and linked them on my site - they play okay on my computer, but not on another computer in the house.

Also, on mine, they open on a separate page in Quicktime and I'd much rather they just play 'in the background' without leaving the original page (if this is possible).

Can anyone help? If anyone wants to see/hear what a pig's ear I've made of it so far the MP3 links are here http://www.brummieblogs.com/BBFebruary2005#MP3links

Re: Playing MP3s on Frontpage website

I'm guessing that your pc has mp3 files associated with quicktime so thats why it opens that on your pc. do normal mp3 files (ie not on a web page) play on the other pc ?

using Flash (if you have it) is one way of doing what you want rather than peoples pc's using their default player for mp3

Just a suggestion - if you want people to guess the film dont store the sound clips in a directory with the movie name in it - moving the mouse over the links showed the film titles !
