DW Database Connection errors

OS is WINXPPro, running Apache, Mysql and PHP. ZoneAlarm as firewall allowing DW to access.

Yesterday all was working well when I shut down, had been adding data, changing bindings, etc

On starting DW today got a 'unidentified error' message when trying to alter server behaviour & I am now unable to make a connection to the server/database - the error message is 404 file not found which could be caused by 1. No server running (not the case) or
2 testing server does not map to http://localhost/_MMServerScripts/MMHTTPDB.php URL.

I have reset the site, started a totally new site, uninstalled DW and then re-installed and tried again - still the same problem.

Some suggestions would be appreciated

Re: DW Database Connection errors

Thanx - I have already worked through that. Did several searches and read reams to far!

I am using DW7 so the upgrade is not the issue. No changes were made to PHP.ini etc between finishing for the day and restatring work with DW.

So far I have removed all sites, removed DW, re-installed DW, started with a toatally new site and I still get the same error message when trying to setup a DB connection.
