Question about Google

If you pay Google so your website is in the sponsored links section and the same person continually clicks the link do Goggle charge you each time or is it set up so the I.P Address is looged and you are only charged once?

Re: Question about Google

Google do monitor. They won't allow it to be abused because this would lose them custom.

They monitor in the same way they monitor people using Adsense. I would think they will have monitoring software in place which will trigger an alert if an IP address continually goes through the link. What the trigger level would be I don't know.

I suppose if your daft enough to abuse your own link then they will charge you as it's your own fault.

Re: Question about Google

Hi Jonny,I dont think anyone would be daft enough to continually click there own link when it was costing them 30-50pence a time.I was more worried about competitors

Re: Question about Google

Competitors would use a script which uses lots of proxys I guess or different ip addresses. I see on the news somtimes where busineses have gone bankrupt with some advertising companys.
