ive just noticed that the IE icon has disappeared from the taskbar next to the start button.....anybody know how i can get it back?

Have you any double chevrons showing there? If so, double click it to see if becomes visible

and if it's not there just drag a copy of the icon to the taskbar.
Maybe for once someone will call me "Sir" without adding "you're making a scene"
