Auto connect

It seems that i have a similar problem after updating a patch for OE6, except that OE dials up itself, when it feels like! How can i stop this from happening. Before i just clicked on the icon.
Any help appreciated!

tools/internet options/connections then tick the top box. You will then only connect when you choose to by clicking on the connect icon.
