unable to register with sites

I have tried to register with two different sites. After clicking on Send to send my details nothing happens. It has been sugested to me that maybe my firewall is stopping me sending my details. How do I stop this happening?

Firstly you need to give us some basic information: What Internet Provider do you have? What modem/router do you have? Which Internet Browser are you using? (Internet Explorer/Firefox etc)and what version?, What security software do you have on your Computer? What Operating system (Windows XP/Mac etc) do you have?
Also please provide a list of things you have done to try and resolve the problem already.
AND most importantly... which sites have you tried to register with?

Hi nannarose,
When you register to most sites they send you an email which you must click on the link to activate your registration/membership.
So if you gave an email address check your inbox for a reply.
