I was using Firefox earlier and after taking a look at all the cookies listed I decided to delete them all.I realised that I would have to log in to the various forums I am registered with all over again , but I was more concerned with clearing all the cookies. After clearing them I successfully managed to log in to all of the websites except for one-THIS ONE! For some reason Firefox refuses to recognise my log in details for the Webuser Forums. No matter what I do it will not log me on,even though I use the same name/password as in IE7. I don`t understand how I can be logged on in one web browser , while the other will not accept the same log in details . What could the problem be? Goonster |

goonster , check in the firefox tools options , that you've not accidentally unticked the box , "accept cookies from sites". |

Quote: I checked on that and everything is OK. Besides,I am also registered with other web forums and I do not have any problems logging on to them and Firefox remembers the log in details .Very odd. Maybe I will have to re-register with different name and password. Goonster I have just checked in the list of passwords remembered by Firefox and Webuser IS listed . |

It sounds like you can still access webuser from IE7???? So, I know it's not ideal, but Firefox has an add-on called IETab....This embeds IE in FFX. Right clicking on the page gives the option to open the page in IETab....If you can access through IE this should let you access through FFX Hope this helps! |

I have just looked in Firefox`s error console and found this- `uncaught exception:Permission denied to call method Location.toString' Also- `Error in parsing value for property `display'.Declaration dropped.' http://www.webuser.co.uk/css/webuser.css Anyone know what it means? Goonster I`ve had a look at using IEtab , but I read there was security issues using this method(just type IEtab into your browser and see the websites warning against it). Thanks for all the help anyway.Looks as if this website is going to be exclusively IE7`s. |
