Weird Firefox Problem
|
Hi, the other day, i loaded up firefox, and all my bookmarks had disappeared, i thought to myself "thats strange", i havent got any viruses or anything, havent installed any new add-ons recently, they just disappeared!
Is there any way of getting these back?? Or am i stuffed?

Try this method to regain your Favorites:
Firstly you'll need to show hidden files and folders via My Computer > Tools > Folder options > View > Advanced settings > Scroll to 'Hidden files and folders' > Check 'Show hidden files and folders' > Apply/OK
Open Firefox and click on the Bookmarks tab, then Organise bookmarks.
In the Window that opens, go to the File tab and select Import. In the next box choose 'From File'.
Navigate to My Computer > C drive > Documents and Settings > Your user name > Application Data > Mozilla > Firefox > Profiles > *****default > Bookmark Backups > Select a date > Open
This hopefully should show your missing Bookmarks.
It's wise to change back the hidden files setting also.
