Error whilst loading firefox

When I load firefox I get the error "could not load c runtime library".
I click ok, and sometimes in comes up again. I click ok and then firefox loads.
Sometimes in doesn't happen at all.
What can I do?

Just a thought. Have you installed any new extensions or themes recently ??
