I have recently installed the Comodo firewall on the recommendation of a number of magazines. However, when I try to start Firefox, nothing happens - I have to uninstall the firewall again. I have tried answering the questions in all manner of combinations, the result being the same each time - nothing! IE7 works fine with it. Is it something easy to fix, or will I be best just forgetting about it. Thanks |

The fix offered in that thread appears to be this - Quote:Or are you suggesting this - Quote:is the answer. In either case it's hardly satisfactory, is it? |

I must be lucky as I have had no problems with Comodo V. 3 and Firefox. Usually problems seem to make a point of seeking me out. However, when I installed Comodo, I did it with 'Defense+' temporarily inactivated (as suggested in a Comodo forum) until I know more about it. Perhaps that has some bearing on the problem. |
