firefox download problem...please help

When I added Greasemonkey to my firefox it resulted in that when I now load firefox it only shows on the right hand side of the page with a grey box at the bottom reading <menuitem id=2view-userscropt2 label=2&menuu.show;" accesskey="7menue.show.accesskey "and on it goes I cant read the rest because it is off the page"
I have deleted greasemonkey and tried to deleate firefox - but with no success
My restore does not work
help
