IE opening in small window

Hi
Recently, every time I open my Home page, it opens in a small window only. I have tried enlarging this, while holding the Control button down, which used to do the trick. Even this doesn't work now.
The kids use Trillian and have their contact chat in small windows. I blame them fully .. I am right to do this ?

Try 'pulling' the window to the full size with the arrows in the corners, then close the window from File on the menu bar, and not the 'Close Cross' in the top right corner.

One should always get into the habit of blaming the kids for everything. Whether you are right to do so is, of course, totally immaterial because if they are not to blame for that particular incident you can bet your life they will be for the next one.
Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
