IT SAYS IT IS NOTCOMPATIBLE ? i RUN AN EMACHINE WITH WINDOWS XP / USE AOL BROADBAND can I use this modem or not. if not, can anyone sugest a good adsl modem connecting to my usb ? many thanks Neville |

If you have got broadband, there is no need to worry about v-90 compatibility. V-90, I think refers to how the modem responds to data through your phoneline or some such nonsense. Though when I had similar problems with my voyager modem, I called up BT and a replacement was sent ASAP, no problems. Of course, it was after I sent back the first one. |

My BT voyager modem has gave me nothing but hassle and it's about time BT sorted out there poor service, connection, speed and modems. I'm totally sick of them and I have to stay with them for 12 months. All I can say is complain complain complain then maybe eventually they'll get the point. I haven't complained yet but I wil be if I keep having problems. I know there are probably people with BT Broadband and find it fine but from this site I can see that alot are finding problems with them and their modems. |
